Cat 259d problems
Cat 259B3 axle won't accept grease. I recently purchased a cat 259B3 with 660 hours on it. As I'm doing my typical once over, I cannot get the front torsion axle pivot grease fittings to accept grease in either fittings. I did remove the zerk/alemite fittings and made sure they both accept the grease gun nozzle and are also clear of obstruction.Member. I have 2016 259d serial #ftl06869.. And the aux hydraulics seem to have more power in one direction than the other, I have switched from tree saw to my cat brush cutter and one direction it spins up fast and strong and the other is a very slow spin up and if on the direction of slow spin up when disengaged it comes to a very abrupt stop.Messages. 11. Now I only have drive speed sensor warning left to fix. I'm told the wiring is more often the problem than the sensor.

I disconnect the sensor and followed the repair manual at least to see what are the measures from the machine harness with the sensor disconnected and I found exactly the same values on both sides( left and right speed sensors) yellow ...Having problems with a 2015 259d skidsteer. Redbud. I agree that track maintenance needs to be considered on all CTL/MTL's, but the 259B3 is in an entirely different ballpark than the 257 you are referring to. The 259B3 has the all steel undercarriage, which is basically a shrunken version of the D3.
