Dec 1, 2022 · 2016 Sliding door completely stuck in open position. I've read as much as I could on possible fixes, but cannot get this door to close. Yesterday it was trying to close and then stopped, so I kept trying to move the door padding to see if it was the pinch sensor. I want to suggest to Honda to have recognition sensor on the door; so, it will know there is a finger there.
