Ive owned allot of different Mathews bows over the years and the only bow I ever "really" fell in love with they made was the Traverse. This year looking to purchase a new bow that would have to meet the following criteria. 1. Available to shoot. 2.Forget what label is on said bow and go shoot many of them at a shop. Shopping online for a bow is like trying to buy shoes online, you have zero idea if it's gonna fit or not and all you are going to get is brand whoring. Mathews has much better long term customer service, if you need parts in the future.

I have shot a bunch of different bows in the past 3-4 years before shooting an Athens 2 years ago and will only be buying there bows from now on.

I shoot currently a 2011 Hoyt Rampage bow and it has a 7 inch brace height. A lot of times I struggle to make tight groups, but my friend brought down his Bowtech Destroyer 350, with a 6 inch brace height and noticed absolutely no difference.
