Feb 17, 2020 · Audio cuts out during voiced cutscene. Basically what the title says. Whenever I have voice acting in a cutscene the last few syllables of the dialogue gets cut out as if ending early. Everything else is fine and I have no other issues but it's incredibly annoying. I did a complete reinstall of the game and it still didn't fix it. The issue appears to be related to using/having a PS4 or PS5 controller plugged in. There are sometimes brief disconnects which causes the audio to reset and it can't resume properly, causing the game crash on exit. If you're not using it for the game, unplug it.
