West Elm's quality is mid to high, but there's a good amount of variance. As far as I know, they source most of their products from multiple factories. Unlike some retailers, they lock up exclusivity rights on their products, so you won't see them anywhere else.This is the worst store ever. Do not buy anything here that needs to be delivered because their customer service and delivery as so bad. I still don't have my bed 2 months later aPros. Comfort – I still cannot get over how comfortable the Harmony sofa is. The cushions are deep (34″) and soft and the back cushions are feather wrapped. On the West Elm scale of softness of 1 to 5 with 1 being the softest, the Harmony is a 1. So if you prefer a firmer feel, the Harmony would not be a good fit for you.

Worst Customer Service & Total Incompetence. We visited West Elm in May 2022 with the understanding that they sold quality furniture. The store was beautifully arranged and the personnel were helpful. We placed an order on May 12 2022 for a dining room set and bedroom set for a total cost of approximately $9000.I guess all the reviews are correct, poorly managed store. Evidently Laua Alber doesnt read the reviews either. Also, I have never seen a West Elm store with such dirty windows. Made the store feel dirty as well. I went down to Crate and Barrel in Bloomfield and ordered the couch from them. Where the service was A+. I wont be back to West Elm.
