I don’t think that’s why people use sulphur. In fact, it’s almost the opposite. People like to use sulphur because it’s organic and far less harsh than other fungicides such as Eagle 20. The copper turned black almost instantly from sulfur collection. Will remove it this afternoon and add more copper until it dosnt turn black. S. Sulphur is a different story. You will need a few things. 1) small thick glass jar. 2) 12 awg stranded copper wire 3) oven. I removed the insulation from the wire and used a lighter to confirm it wasn’t coated. It makes sense now. However they were treating the plant before with pesticides or herbicides or something. A lot of it contains sulfur. Probably left behind.
