Key not detected + other electrical weirdness. Been having some intermittent electrical weirdness the last couple of months, with the strangest yet this morning on my 2012 5-speed. It started a few months back with occasionally seeing the traction control light pop on when on dry pavement. Then over the last month I stated seeing the "key not ...I was recently gifted a 2012 Ford Focus. Has a few issues but it does work fairly well. Until this morning I guess. As far as I know it is the original key. I started the car, moved it, shut it off & took a smoke break.
