+15 is always the best upgrade for most weapons in my experience in pve. not so sure about pvp. +15 always gave me the most damage especially with scaling. since I always go dex build, and I'll mostly go for uchigatana, +15 did a lot more damage than a +5 lightning uchi, because it scaled better. but maybe its a specific scenario that doesn't apply to much else?

Don't worry I dont plan to use it for PvP, is just I see it incredibly good for boss fights, it's so quick and burns very low stamina per attack. I prefer the Estoc's longer range over the Rapier's extra damage (Estoc also looks cooler). The long reach also helps when I feel like attacking from behind a shield at a safer distance. I do use the Rapier off-hand so I'm forced to learn how to parry/ dodge faster, so I may switch over to Rapier again. But for now, I like Estoc the best.
