For the uninitiated, both the Blade of Saeldor and the Bow of Faerdhinen can be recoloured using crystals from Lliann’s Wares in Prifddinas to match the emblems of the different Elvish clans. It only makes sense that you should be able to recolour Crystal Armour in the same way! (Crystal body+ legs, not helm) People heavily overestimate the use cost, in an average solo i vary between 25-40 charges per armour piece, less than a single crystal shard per raid. You can thieve an average of 140 shards in an hour. BowFa deez nuts.

It takes a very considerable amount of use to "get your moneys worth" out of corrupted bowfa. It's good for a lot of things yes. bofa is pretty decent without armor, not incredible however. I did see semtecks use the bofa at zuk for the extended range. 1 def iron yes (no scale/dart supply), 1 def normie just use blowpipe with amethyst darts. Its same strength as diamond bolts, more accuracy than acb and faster.Consider using both it and a crossbow for more timely clears. A crystal bow requires 70 Ranged to use and will work against all enemies, but it may run out of charges before you finish. Finally, the bow of faerdhinen with crystal armour is superior to the toxic blowpipe for overall clear speed, but requires Song of the Elves.New Crystal Armour and Crystal Bow is pretty good at Zulrah! 23971. A crystal helm is a piece of crystal armour requiring level 70 Defence to equip. When equipped, a 2.5% damage bonus and 5% accuracy bonus is applied when using the crystal bow or Bow of Faerdhinen. This bonus stacks additively with the crystal legs and crystal body 's bonuses, for a total of 15% damage and 30% accuracy. Bowfa is definitely better on vents. For switches I'd probably bring 6-8 way depending on dps calc. Scythe is generally better, but if you don't hit a dwh it's inconsistent, and you can lose hits last phase to the spawns. I would probably bring dwh if you decide to scythe and claws if you arclight. If you're doing poh method, you can bring both.

Not much difference between rapier and bowfa at Ba Ba and not having to switch is nice. Much nicer overall for Wardens and slaps P3. Crystal top and bottom are a must though. 4.5k Zulrah kc bowfa only, 6-7 kills per inve, 55 second pb, no thralls. I would bank it for now so you aren't burning charges and pull it back out when you are able to afford the bowfa. It's a marginal range accuracy bonus over blessed d'hide.
