Usually is recommended to play through stardew valley without mods first and then get into modding. Which depending on how fast can be hundred of hours. But if you played enough, I like the kind of cheaty QoL mods. Like fishing mini game getting skipped, where the NPCs are, automation, bigger backpack, more rings, etc.
