16 posts · Joined 2014. #1 · Jul 26, 2014. Remote was working fine till this morning. The vehicle starts fine remotely run for about 10-15 second then shuts down. The dash display says "remote start disabled start vehicle to reset". I did do the Uconnect software update Thursday morning but this is the first time had the problem with the start.I have a 2012 r/t R&T STP. In the settings screen I have the box checked for drivers seat to come on upon remote start up. Is this a feature that turns on every time, or is it dependent on the outside temp? The past couple times I've used it it hasn't come on. Outside temps have been mild. Thank you sir! Appreciate it.I deliver pizza with my Charger and I remote start it about 15 times a day! Mine is located at the left rear of the engine compartment, opposite of the brake fluid reservoir, as you're facing the car.
