Jun 28, 2010 · I had this issue, cold air on driver's side, hot air on passenger side, but turning the AC on/off fixed it. Best guess was maybe that air baffle gets stuck sometimes. This is all outside temperature dependent. Higher temperatures = higher pressure. If you are lower than that you are low on r134a coolant.

You may hear a clicking sound and see the motor moving in a jerking motion. Fix is a new motor or repair old one (major surgery).
