I am getting great breaks at 16 yd. trap and on the skeet field even better. I am not a good trap shooter so seeing good breaks when I actually hit them is always a plus.

Gil, I have been shooting 12 ga. 3/4 oz. for over 3 years now for skeet, sporting clays and some trap. I have been using Remington Gun Clubs, Claybuster CB1075-12 wads, Remington primers STS209 but now have switched over to Federal 209A's and using 1/2 gr. less powder. Loads are very nice and no misfires even in cold weather.Ranking them in terms of payload capacity in those hulls (least to greatest): DR pink, OEM AA12L, Clear Duster, CB0178. If your goal is to use standard MEC 3/4 oz bars, the DR and OEM wads are best. You can use the other two, but crimps are not flush without press adjustment (or filler, the horror).Instead I used the WAA12L gray wad, (actually the CB0178 -12 Clone wad), and it worked and fit fine.
