MY 4th bag of feed from tractor supply was a moldy clump of feed of course it was the stuff at the bottom of the feed bag so I feed my chickens bad feed before hitting the bottom of the bag. I was very mad that it was feed to my chicks but could do nothing about it by the time I found it out.

Well on the back of the bag it says: 0-10 weeks-Chick Starter/Grower 20% 10-20 weeks- Poultry Grower/Finisher 15% 20+ weeks- Poultry Layer 16% So I went to the feed store today and got the Dumor Chick Grower/Finisher since they just finished the starter/grower.The nutritional value might slip a wee bit, but still. A 50# bag would certainly last 2 hens 3 plus months. Two hens can eat a 1/2 pound per day, or 100 days on the 50 pounds of feed. If you can only buy 50 pounders, then that's what you can buy.
