Nope. I've had franchises go on over 15 years and none of them get promotions, they just retire. Another thing that's dumb is I've seen other CPU teams hire real life head coaches, as their coordinators. For example I saw the Steelers hire Sean Payton as their OC while they still had Tomlin as HC.
